More Beaters?!?

Yes! More beaters. What can I say, I like em. Besides, I'm still not satisfied with the ones I've released, BUT, I think I'm quite happy with these. Added more of a ribbed texture to them, so I think I've finally found the formula that works for me. Black and white available at the FORM location at the Block.

I've got another beater that I'll be releasing soon that has a graphic on it. Keep your eyes open for it...eh, just check back here in a couple of days and I'm sure I'll have blogged it by then. Workin on some new jeans as well. Oh, and boots. Christ, I've been putting off these boots for almost a month now. I need to buckle down and get them out. I keep tweakin and tweakin...just need to leave them be and put them out already. OH! Krius passed his new boots onto me last nite...one word...SHIT! (Good shit, not bad shit)

Merry Christmas and RIP James Brown

First off...MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday. In celebration, I sent some friends in SL a little gift....the Ghetto Destroyer! I got the idea from a boombox I purchased a couple weeks ago. It was nice, but coulda used more loops to my liking, so...I made my own. Leila and Nion were both HUGE helps in working the script out and getting it to do what I wanted it to do, so a big thanx goes out to those two.

You could just set the thing out and play it, but much better to wear it :D You can click on it and play loops of some b-boy and funk classics. There are 50 loops to choose from, so hours and hours of mindless entertainment. I may sell them later...we'll see, so stay tuned.

Something else I wanna touch on is the death of a legend/icon/genius, the Godfather of Soul, the infamous James Brown. I was saddened when I heard the news this morning. I personally am a huge fan of James Brown...I love music, all types of music (especially breakbeats), and nothing got me shakin my arse more than Mr. Brown. I'm prone to busting out a terrible JB impression when my daughter and I are driving and I decide to do a JB remix of the latest top 40 single that's playing on the radio. He's the greatest ever and his music will influence the generations to come. Do me a favor and play some of the JBrown loops in the boombox, k? RIP James Brown.

Happy Xmas Gift from FORM

Ya know, I wasn't sure if I could make an Xmas tee that had that FORM style to it. After slamming my forehead on the desk a few times, I saw white sparklies floating about, and thus inspired this design...Skullflakes!

Zoom in close enough and you'll see that the snowflakes are comprised of, um, skulls. Kinda neat I think. Strange, but neat nonetheless.

Pick one up at the Block Xmas tree. There's a FORM ornament hanging from it...just pay it $0L and you'll get one. It's mod/copy/no transfer, so if you know of others that'd like one be sure to let them know.

Japanese Gangsta

Made a new tattoo a couple days ago. I didn't have intentions on doing one, but I just happened to be really bored and in a productive mood.

It's a more traditional Yakuza style tattoo. At first, I wasn't sure I'd like the idea of the tatt going over the nipples. I like nipples, and nipples are a damn good thing, so covering up nipples makes me sad, especially when it's a tattoo covering them. But the more and more I wear it, the more I don't mind. I guess cuz you can still see the nipples, it doesn't bother me so much.

As for the kana down the middle of the chest, it's a Japanese idiom I came across one nite, which one website loosely translated it as "The finest flowers soonest fade." Upon further research, I've found several interpretations of what the meaning is:

kajinhakumei (ka beautiful + jin person + haku thin + mei life)
A beautiful woman is destined to die young.; Beauty and fortune seldom go together.

In either translation, it suits the tattoo. And I tried to make it as unisex as possible, so hopefully both guys and gals will find it appealing. It's available at the FORM shop at the Block. It is a limited release, and it's only 500L! Get it before it's gone.
